Development

First of all, an analysis is made of your business processes. This results in a Functional Design for a tailor-made application or a description of the layout of a standard application. The application can subsequently be developed and laid out.

Development process

The software application is developed according to the procedure described in the project plan. Depending on the size and complexity of said application, various documents are produced during the development process. Think, for example, of installation and/or user manuals, testing protocols and an interface description.

Hardware integration

Because Dalosy only builds mobile applications we have the required specialist knowledge. This enables us to perfectly align our mobile applications with the options provided by the hardware selected. Almost standard for our mobile applications is the use of barcode scanners. We also regularly use built in cameras, GPS and external Bluetooth devices (such as mobile printers).

Development tools

Dalosy uses the latest development tools. The majority of our applications are developed in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (with Compact Framework). But we also develop mobile applications using specialist tools such as Vocollect Taskbuilder (for Voice applications) and CATAMARAN.

Integration systems

We use web services or our own middleware based on a Microsoft SQL Server database to integrate our mobile applications with your back office systems. We also have the required know how to build connector functions in Dynamics AX using the AX X++ development environment in order to integrate our mobile applications into Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Implementation

Implementation on location starts once the application has been completed. During this process the application is laid out and tested. This takes place with close cooperation between our consultants and your staff. Attuning the application to your company processes, laying out a testing environment and testing the application with your other systems and the hardware required. You can leave it all to us.

Software and infrastructure

The implementation of the infrastructure and hardware takes place parallel to that of the software. During the installation of a wireless RF network, we mount and configure the required AccessPoints. Furthermore, the terminals and printers are set up and we install the management software. Our network engineers integrate the entire system into your existing network and test everything until they are certain everything functions correctly.

Training

The final phase of the implementation consists of training your staff. Dalosy provides various options. For example, we can train your key users to use the software application. We also regularly provide end user training.
We will train your IT department to manage the software application and to control the infrastructure using the management software.
After training, your staff have the know how required to properly use the mobile solution. This means you can immediately benefit from the advantages it offers!
